Job Summary
Providing direct nursing care in the H50 Colorectal Surgery Unit at Cleveland Clinic, the PRN RN will implement and monitor patient care plans, assess and coordinate discharge needs, and communicate patient conditions. Ideal candidates excel in time management, critical thinking, and collaboration in a fast-paced surgical environment. Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree and current RN licensure, while two years of recent nursing experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Two years recent related nursing experience (external applicants)
- Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments
- Licensed military RN experience considered
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

- Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience must gain approval from Chief Nursing Officer
