Job Summary
Supervise staff and implement personalized care plans while administering medications safely and accurately. Provide updates to families, collaborate with doctors and coworkers, and step in during emergencies with clinical skill. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with company policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and HIPAA regulations. Maintain confidentiality regarding resident and personnel information. Work flexible 8 or 12-hour shifts in a long-term care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license and a heart full of empathy
- A positive attitude and a passion for patient-centered care
- Great communication skills
- Strong time management and a sharp eye for detail
- A love for teamwork and a desire to keep growing
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Current RN Licensure in the State employed
- Valid CPR Certification
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA laws and related regulations
- Must possess strong communication, customer service, teamwork and organizational skills
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude
