PRN Respiratory Therapist - Palm Valley Post Acute

Provide respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct patient care to patients with pulmonary deficiencies. Follow supervisor instructions and facility policies; perform focused interviews, assess patient status, collect and interpret data, plan outcomes of care, and perform interventions per priorities and care plans. Adhere to emergency, safety, and infection control procedures; maintain confidentiality of patient information; communicate with inter-department staff and physicians as needed; and perform administrative responsibilities as assigned. Requires a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license, CPR/BLS, and ACLS certifications; Associate degree is required with a respiratory care program graduate; Bachelor’s degree preferred; one year of acute/subacute respiratory care experience preferred.
