Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist II with night shift responsibilities at Cobb Hospital. Provides critical care respiratory support including ventilator management, bronchodilatory therapy, arterial blood gas analyses, airway management (intubation/extubation/trach care), and aerosolized medications. Responsible for patient and family education, staff mentoring, and participation in education of new employees. Emphasizes patient safety, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with the health-care team in complex care scenarios. Requires NBRC-RRT and RCP certifications, BLS (and ACLS where applicable), and 0-2 years of clinical experience with a focus on critical care; associates degree in respiratory therapy (bachelors preferred).”,

- RCP - Respiratory Care Prof
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
