Job Summary
Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and chest physiotherapy based on physician orders and protocols. Conduct patient assessments, monitor responses to respiratory interventions, and manage ventilator settings to ensure optimal comfort and safety. Accurately implement written or verbal physician orders while providing clear documentation of all treatments and patient responses. Demonstrate skill in emergency situations to stabilize patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams. Maintain strict adherence to patient identification, infection control, and personal protective equipment standards. Requires CRT certification and BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 30 days of hire.

- Florida: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certifications
- Georgia: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Georgia: Successful completion of assigned SAMA course
- Indiana: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certifications
- Indiana: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Indiana: Successful completion of assigned SAMA course
- Indiana: STABLE certification
- Mississippi: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- North Carolina: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- New Mexico: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Pennsylvania: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Texas: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Texas: Successful completion of assigned SAMA course
- Texas: STABLE certification for NICU therapists
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or clinical setting
