Job Summary
Provide PRN respiratory therapy services in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders. Required toGraduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, possess BLS and ACLS, obtain NRP and PALS within 1 year of hire, hold Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner through the Texas Medical Board, NBRC registration, and have at least 6 months of respiratory care experience. The role involves engaging with patients and families, maintaining professional growth, and contributing to a high-quality patient experience at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center (Midlothian, Texas).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
