Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist position involving collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing per physician orders. Responsibilities include clear communication, building collaborative relationships, accountability for performance, pursuing professional growth, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Requires graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, BLS and ACLS, NRP and PALS within 1 year of hire, Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, NBRC registration, and a minimum of 6 months of respiratory care experience. Hours are 12 hours per week with Monday through Friday days and rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience.
