Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist II responsible for medication administration and implementing respiratory care in non-NICU critical care settings, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, aerosolized meds, bronchodilator therapy, oxygen/medical gas therapy, and airway management. Duties include patient and family education, coordination with health care teams, mentoring and precepting new staff and students, and supporting quality care initiatives. Location: Jonesboro, GA; shift: Day/PRN; emphasis on education, collaboration, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy-Preferred
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Professional
- BLS - Basic Life Support (or ARC-BLS)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (or ACLS-I)
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
