Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist II in Non-NICU at Cobb Hospital (Evening/Night shift).Responsibilities include delivering patient care in critical care areas with ventilator management, conducting patient assessments, coordinating with health care team, administering aerosolized medication and other therapies, performing arterial blood gas sampling and analysis, and educating patients, families, students, and staff. Requires collaboration across care teams, documentation accuracy, adherence to safety and quality standards, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications include NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, and 0-2 years of clinical/critical care experience; advanced education of an Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience with minimal 6-months critical care
