Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist II in the NICU at Cobb Hospital in New York City (Night shift) delivering advanced respiratory care including ventilator management, aerosolized medications, airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and education for patients, families, and staff. Responsibilities include patient assessment, collaboration with the health care team, ensuring safe practices, and participation in procedures and unit education. Requires an associate degree in respiratory care (bachelor’s preferred), RRT and RC certifications, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP (instructor or provisional acceptable), and 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
