Job Summary
PRN Respiratory Therapist II for NICU at Cobb Hospital. Night shift. Provides medication administration and delivers complex respiratory care in the NICU with ventilator management, airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care), ABG sampling, and patient education. Engages in teaching and mentoring of new staff and students; collaborates with the health care team to plan and deliver care, promotes patient safety and evidence-based practice, and participates in performance improvement initiatives. Requires an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care (Bachelors preferred) and current RRT credential with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications (Instructor or Provisional where applicable); 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.

- Respiratory Care Professional
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Instructor
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Instructor or Provisional
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Instructor or Provisional
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Instructor or Provisional
- 0-2 years clinical experience with minimum 6 months in critical care
