Job Summary
Provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to promote a collaborative environment while building relationships to improve the patient experience. Take initiative for professional growth and maintain accountability for performance. This PRN role at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital and the only adult Level I Trauma Center in southern Dallas, supports a diverse workforce in a 595-bed acute care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
