Job Summary
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote collaboration, and remain accountable for performance while seeking ways to improve the patient experience. Take initiative for professional growth and stay engaged in building a winning team. This PRN role at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed acute care hospital in Texas, includes a 12-hour Monday through Friday rotation with weekend availability. The hospital offers emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, and labor and delivery services, featuring robotic surgery capabilities and a cardiac catheterization lab.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
