Job Summary
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Communicate clearly, build relationships to foster a collaborative environment, and maintain accountability for performance while seeking ways to improve the patient experience. Take initiative for professional growth within a diverse, award-winning 46-bed acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, offering emergency care, surgery, and advanced imaging capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Current Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- At least 6 months respiratory care experience
