PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Nights (Saturdays and/or Mondays)

Job Summary
Evaluate patient care on admission and ongoing basis, develop and update nursing care plans, and make all patient care assignments. Complete comprehensive assessments, treatments, and tests while administering IVs and performing venipuncture. Direct patient care through group and individual therapy, educate families on medication and disease prevention, and demonstrate discharge planning to avoid unnecessary delays. Provide emergency care and apply treatment or seclusion interventions as authorized. Requires one year of clinical nursing experience, current RN license, and ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and unscheduled overtime. Travel required; frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferably in geriatrics and/or mental health
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Registered Nursing (RN) Degree
- Current State Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Current CPI Certification
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Travel required
- Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 40 pounds
