Job Summary
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home healthcare setting, administering medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess vital signs, respiratory status, and overall health while managing G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support as needed. Educate families and caregivers on pediatric care, emergency response, and safety measures, then maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records. Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care while adhering to infection control standards. Requires an active Georgia RN license with 1-2 years of pediatric experience and PALS certification. Flexible PRN shifts available days, nights, or weekends with competitive pay of $45-50 per hour and mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 1-2 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable traveling within the Stone Mountain, GA area
Desired Qualifications
- Home healthcare experience
- PALS certification
- Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilator management, seizure disorders, and G-tube feedings
