PRN Registered Nurse (RN) Days

Job Summary
Provide clinical oversight for day-to-day operations of the hospital, work with patients in a therapeutic setting, follow physician orders, complete assessments, initiate and update treatment plans, direct patient care, conduct group and individual therapy/education, refer for intake and continuum of care, apply treatment and restraints or seclusion where appropriate, meet patient goals, and support discharge planning. Responsibilities include nursing evaluations on admission and ongoing basis, maintaining current nursing care plans, assigning patient care, adjusting staffing as needed, IV administration, venipuncture, patient/family education on medications and disorders, comprehensive nursing assessments and tests, psychiatric metric measures, providing pharmaceutical services within license, and ensuring timely post-hospital care. Requires travel, ability to work overtime, and flexible hours. Qualifications include RN license, CPR, CPI certification, and experience in geriatrics/mental health; education required at least an associate degree with preference for bachelor's; equal employment opportunity stance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Registered Nursing (RN) Degree
- Current State Registered Nursing (RN) License
- Current CPR Certification
- Current CPI Certification
- Travel required
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- One (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferably in geriatrics and/or mental health
