PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

PRN RN for Ada, OK: conduct patient visits to assess nursing needs, perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care, perform ongoing assessments and revise plans under physician direction, provide skilled nursing treatments and educate patients and caregivers on disease processes and prevention, initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, prepare clinical and progress notes and coordinate services with the care team, communicate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care, re-evaluate patient needs and assist with discharge planning, supervise LPNs, vocational nurses, and home health aides when appropriate, practice infection control and universal precautions, report suspected abuse according to state and federal guidelines, assist with office tasks and new-nurse orientation as needed, with a focus on high-quality patient care in a home health setting.
