PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain medical records while educating patients and families about conditions. Administer medications per orders, document controlled substance counts, and notify physicians of significant status changes such as medical emergencies or medication responses. Coordinate unit activities, communicate professionally with patients and staff, and complete admission and discharge processing efficiently. Ensure physicians' verbal orders are transcribed appropriately and demonstrate knowledge of universal precautions. Requires one year of nursing experience with current RN licensure and CPR/de-escalation certification; offers 100% paid psychiatric training and flexible 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts.
