Job Summary
PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) for Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center in Matthews, NC. 10 hours per week, typically within the 5:00am–7:30pm window. Responsibilities include coordinating telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients, functioning as a team member in the ASC environment with cross-training to other primary areas (including turnover), and supporting day-to-day ASC operations. Requires orthopedic peri-operative nursing expertise; PACU experience is required. Eligible employees receive a full spectrum of benefits; ASC experience and ambulatory care background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse (RN)
- At least two years’ experience in ambulatory or OR Circulator (ambulatory experience required)
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
