Job Summary
PRN Registered Nurse - Oncology Infusion. Provides direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, including planning, assessment, intervention, and evaluation with an outcome-focused approach. Maintains communication with physicians and care team; applies evidence-based practice and prioritizes care based on patient needs. Requires ADN, KY RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, ONS and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification before orientation, Oncology Certified Nurse within two years, and Crisis Prevention within 6 months. Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required to be completed before orientation
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required within two years of hire
- Crisis Prevention training within 6 months of hire
