Job Summary
This PRN Registered Nurse position at Overland Park Regional Medical Center involves providing patient care in the Infusion, Gyn Oncology, and Med Oncology Clinic. The role requires a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license
- BLS is required upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) preferred within first 6 months of hire; required within first year of hire
- Certified Oncology Nurse (OCN) from Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) preferred
- Prior experience in a similarly sized facility with similar services provided is preferred
- Previous emergency, pre-hospital or critical care preferred
- Previous oncology experience strongly preferred
