PRN Registered Nurse

Plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care in the operating room, preoperative, and postoperative areas while making decisions on direct care needs. Implement and evaluate preoperative, intraoperative, and recovery nursing care for pediatric patients, maintaining knowledge of medication administration, patient assessment, and arrhythmia detection. Assist with medical assessments for upcoming surgeries, complete narcotic counts and equipment logs daily, and see or call 100% of scheduled surgical patients prior to their procedure. Contact patients for post-operative follow-ups and communicate with team members regarding patient conditions and expectations. Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness standards within the surgery center. Available to travel between locations to meet operational needs.
