Job Summary
Travel to various Office Infusion Centers for staffing and follow-up training, while performing as a preceptor to nurses. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, manage PIV and central line care, and prepare and administer medications. Deliver patient teaching on medication and disease processes, ensuring safety, monitoring, and follow-up. Coordinate care with other disciplines and manage referrals. Communicate clearly with clients and employees, adhere to policies, and resolve conflicts proactively. Maintain HIPAA compliance when handling protected health information. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding travel time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in nursing (ADN)
- State Board of Nursing Licensed; active and unencumbered
- Must possess valid basic life support (BLS) certification
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting
- Critical care or outpatient/homecare infusion experience
- Recent intravenous administration and catheter management experience
- CRNI, VA-BC, OCN
