Job Summary
PRN Referral Coordinator at Munson Healthcare – Remote position with in-person training potential in Traverse City, MI. Manages referrals into/out of the clinic, including prior authorizations, medical records, and other communications. Efficiently calls patients, schedules appointments, verifies insurance and demographics. Requires superior customer relationship skills and effective verbal and written communication with all levels. Able to operate under frequently changing healthcare requirements and adapt to changes to obtain operational and performance efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in health services administration or related field; and at least three (3) years’ experience in related field with advancing experience.
- In lieu of an associate degree, candidate must have 5 years of experience in health care.
