PRN Radiology Technologist Days

Job Summary
Provide supportive care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse and physician, including vital signs, IV initiations, and blood draws. Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality x-rays and CT scans for diagnostic purposes, then upload images for interpretation and report results immediately. Assist with assessments, examinations, and treatments such as crutch walking, dressing changes, and splint application while adhering to proper techniques and protocols. Maintain confidentiality of patient data and comply with all privacy and security laws. Requires ARRT certification, current Texas license, and at least two years of hospital or emergency room experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent with diploma/certification from accredited school of Radiology Technologist
- At least Two (2) years experience as a Radiology Technologist at a hospital or emergency room setting
- ARRT Certification
- CPR/BLS Certification
- Current license from the Texas Department of State Health Service for Radiology Technologist
- Prolonged periods standing, reaching and bending
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations
