Job Summary
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in our urgent care setting, positioning patients with skill and compassion while delivering preliminary reports and quality images to physicians. Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment by following radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines. Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language. This PRN role offers weekend on-call coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with shift pay plus call-in compensation, starting at $43 per hour. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
- Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently
- PRN (Per Diem) opportunity
- Weekend on-call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Technologists average approximately two call-ins per day
- Shift pay plus additional compensation for call-ins
- Weekend shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis and are shared with another technologist
- Additional weekday coverage opportunities may also be available based on department needs
- Performing and positioning patients for X-ray examinations
- Delivering preliminary reports and quality images to physicians
- Maintaining equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment
- Following radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Communicating openly with the care team and educating patients in plain language
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands
- Occasional sitting, stooping, and kneeling
- Potential exposure to blood and body fluids
- Hepatitis-B vaccination series

- Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required
