Job Summary
PRN PTA provides patient evaluation within 24 hours or one business day of physician referral, develops and obtains approval for treatment plans, and administers therapy per physician plan. S/he supervises Physical Therapy Assistants, supports training for Restorative Aides, and participates in welfare and discharge planning, care conferences, and in-service training. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy ( Masters/Doctorate preferred), state licensure, and computer proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care. Responsibilities include documentation in medical records, family/caregiver training, and equipment ordering to facilitate mobility. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state
- Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care
- Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals
- Ability to present information to managers, coworkers and families
- Mathematical and reasoning ability
