Job Summary
PRN Psych RN provides direct psychiatric nursing care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include supervising medication schedules and evaluating patient progress based on behavioral changes, monitoring and recording results of medications and treatments, and assisting patients in improving coping abilities. Shift: PM, 7p–7a. Location: Locust Grove, OK. Key skills include psychiatric assessment, medication administration, patient education for patients and families, and teamwork to support outcome-based treatment in a mental-health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in OK
- Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification favorable
- ability to work PM shifts (7p-7a)
- ability to work in multidisciplinary team
- patient education and discharge planning skills
