PRN Pre/Post Op Registered Nurse (RN), Overnight

Overnight PRN RN responsible for pre- and post-operative perioperative care, including preparing patients for surgery, monitoring recovery from anesthesia, administering medications, wound care, and coordinating care with surgeons and anesthesia teams. Key duties include assessing physical and emotional needs, recording vital signs, initiating IVs, managing perioperative pain, delivering post-operative care and instructions to patients and families, and ensuring smooth handovers between shifts. Requires BSN, Texas RN license, and at least 2 years of pre- or post-anesthesia care experience; MSN preferred with additional experience and CPAN/BLS certifications advantageous. Salary starts at $47.89/hour and location is Austin, TX.
