Job Summary
Conduct outpatient medicine, continuity of care, and health maintenance across three clinic locations in Dallas, DeSoto, and Grand Prairie. Manage moderately complex to complex health issues with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches, while keeping medical histories and records. Refer patients to specialists as needed and influence department strategy. Screen for tuberculosis as part of the Senior Bridge program and work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with travel between sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
- Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Required to be screened for TB
- Direct W-2 employment with the organization (not a 1099 position)
- Must be willing to travel between assigned clinic locations
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
- Minimum of two+ years of experience
- 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators
- Preferred availability of at least three days per week
