Job Summary
Conduct individualized physical therapy programs including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and patient education to maximize functional goals. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities while teaching in-home stretches and body mechanics. Support client worksites with ergonomics, safety training, and wellness initiatives. Coordinate care with physicians, occupational therapists, and ancillary staff; supervise PTAs and direct evidence-based practice resources. Document services in electronic medical records and maintain infection-control protocols. Schedule follow-ups, screenings, and tests for company employees; assist in outreach efforts targeting chronic disease risk. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and attend center training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE)
- Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Physical Therapist
- Current BLS certification
- Understanding of clinical documentation requirements utilizing electronic medical records software in accordance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines
- Outpatient experience for adolescent and adult population
