Job Summary
PRN Physical Therapist providing clinical physical therapy services to residents on a part-time, on-site basis. Responsibilities include administering treatment programs, performing patient health assessments and physical examinations, documenting care in patient records, guiding patients through therapeutic regimens and daily living activities, instructing on wellness and growth, and maintaining infection-control standards. Role involves manual and non-manual exercises, ambulatory and functional activities, assisting patients with devices such as crutches, canes, and prostheses, and coordinating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- State license to practice physical therapy (PT) or eligible for licensure in Texas
- CPR/Basic Life Support certification (if required by facility)
- experience with patient assessments, planning, and documenting care
