Job Summary
Collects blood from inpatients, outpatients, and nursing homes according to established procedures. Includes capillary punctures and venipuncture on infants and adults, and radial arterial punctures on adults. Phlebotomy Technician I/II/III progression with ASCP certification and immunization requirements; vaccination compliance and attendance/appreciation for teamwork are emphasized. Minimum education equals HS diploma or GED with relevant customer-service experience; ASCP certification preferred. Munson Material with benefits, tuition reimbursement, and vaccines requirement. Location indicated as Indian River, MI; in-person work; PRN schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- National ASCP certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) preferred but equivalent certification and/or experience acceptable
