Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for analysis, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and maintain specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to patients while handling administrative duties and traveling to additional sites as needed. Work Saturdays from 7am-11:30am and Monday-Friday as needed, with a maximum of 19 hours weekly. Phlebotomy certification or three months of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
