Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, and process billing and payments. Maintain patient and specimen logs, handle administrative duties, and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Saturday on an as-needed variable schedule, with no more than 19 hours per week. This role serves as the face of Labcorp in our Patient Service Center, offering opportunities for continuous growth within our global diagnostics network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
