Job Summary
Remote PRN Pharmacist role delivering remote order entry and CPOE evaluation for acute-care hospital clients. Responsibilities include remote order entry and evaluation, license maintenance across multiple states, performing as staff pharmacist as needed, physician and nursing consultations, clinical dosing services, review/monitoring of profiles and lab values for therapeutic outcomes, and coordinating medication access per facility policy and state/federal laws. Requires active IL license (and at least one additional state license among IL, IN, WI, NE, SD, ND, IA, MI, MO, MT), 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience, and ability to gain reciprocity to additional states. Required Qualifications
- Active pharmacy license(s) in state of residence as well as state of original licensure
- Must hold at least one active license in IL, IN, WI, NE, SD, ND, IA, MI, MO, or MT
- 2-4 years of clinical hospital inpatient experience preferred
- Ability to gain reciprocity to additional states required for practice
- Computer savvy to learn and perform successful operation of multiple pharmacy information systems
- Excellent communication skills to enable successful interactions with healthcare professionals
