Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist role in a high-volume, long-term care pharmacy focusing on medication verification, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and supervision of technicians; leads operations, ensures compliance with state/federal laws, delivers services to facilities/providers, participates in staff recruitment/training, and supports operational improvements and performance metrics; requires Texas Pharmacist licensure with IV certification and LTC experience; includes leadership responsibilities and on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas
- ACPE-accredited IV certification
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharm or PharmD
- Pharmacist license in Texas
- Pharmacy management or supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience in long-term care or similar high-volume pharmacy settings
- English language proficiency
