Job Summary
Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse (Peds ER RN) records present symptomology and collects a thorough pediatric patient history. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating pediatric patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include managing care of pediatric patients with life-threatening problems and performing triage, assisting physicians in exams/diagnostics/treatments, preparing/administering/recording prescribed medications, and providing education and support to pediatric patient families. Shift: Nights.
