Job Summary
Provide pediatric emergency care as a PRN Peds ER RN in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include triage, coordinating with physicians for exams, diagnostics, and treatments, preparing/administering/recording prescribed medications, and educating and supporting pediatric patients’ families while collaborating with the healthcare team during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure in the state of New Jersey or New York (as applicable)
- Pediatric Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ability to obtain within a specified period
- Strong triage and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work nights
- Excellent communication and patient-family education skills
