Job Summary
Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to children with complex medical needs as part of Aveanna Healthcare’s Pediatric Day Healthcare Center (PDHC) in Metairie, LA. Responsibilities include administering medications, treatments, and therapies; collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to develop personalized care plans; monitoring and documenting patient progress; and providing education and emotional support to families and caregivers. Schedule features include 12-hour daytime shifts with full-time and part-time options, no nights, weekends, or holidays, offering flexibility and opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN License
- CPR Certification (can be obtained during orientation)
- Clear Criminal Background Check
