PRN Patient Care Technician - Med/Surg (PCT)

Provide hands-on direct patient care including bathing, mobility assistance, and comfort measures while monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient information. Support nurses and the care team in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and offer compassionate emotional support to patients and families. Safely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation to help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful care environment. Complete required PCT training classes for the assigned unit and maintain Basic Life Support certification within six months of hire. On-the-job training is provided, and flexible scheduling includes day, evening, and night shifts across multiple Deaconess locations.
