PRN On-Call Registered Nurse

Job Summary
Provide skilled, compassionate home nursing care as a PRN On-Call Registered Nurse (RN). Conduct patient visits to assess nursing needs, perform initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care, carry out ongoing assessments and revise care plans, administer skilled nursing treatments, educate patients and caregivers on disease processes and self-care, initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, prepare clinical notes, coordinate services with physicians and interdisciplinary staff, re-evaluate patient needs and assist with discharge planning, supervise LPNs and home health aides when needed, maintain infection control, and support office tasks or orientation as required. Requires active Oklahoma RN license, CPR, ability to travel long distances, and flexibility for PRN on-call schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
- Active RN license in Oklahoma
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
- Ability to travel long distances and adapt to changing schedules
- Home health, critical care, or emergency room experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, calm under pressure, organized, and able to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
