Conduct ongoing interdisciplinary assessments and develop individualized plans of care in partnership with patients, caregivers, and physicians. Provide patient and caregiver counseling, education, and functional evaluations including muscle function, endurance, and home environment safety checks. Develop treatment programs, establish goals, and teach new skills or adaptive equipment use such as splinting and prosthetic training. Maintain clinical records, reports, and participate in quality assessment, performance improvement programs, and in-service training.
