Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice, Company procedures, and productivity standards. Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine intervention needs, evaluate data for treatment planning, and develop short and long-term goals. Implement treatment according to the established plan while monitoring resident response and adapting strategies to attain goals. Interpret findings and communicate recommendations to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Establish individual therapy schedules, participate in discharge planning, and provide education on occupational therapy procedures and adaptive device use. Maintain current licensure, certification, and knowledge of rehabilitative laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy Examination
- Current licensure as Occupational Therapist in practicing state(s)
- Current certification/ registry, as required
