Job Summary
PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Arizona to assist pediatric OT under the direction of the OT. Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatments, follow through with written plans, document treatments, collaborate with the therapy team, and support a positive environment. Roles include assisting therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, documenting patient progress, and educating and supporting patients and families. Schedule is PRN/As-needed with weekdays only (no weekends); contract position with flexible scheduling in a community-based Ahwatukee setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Active state licensure in Arizona
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with pediatric clients
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs
- Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
