Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy treatments as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist, assisting patients in improving functional mobility and independence with daily living activities. Accurately document patient progress and treatment interventions, monitor patient responses to treatment, and report changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, and family members while maintaining compliance with all hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards. This role operates on a PRN basis at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South in an acute care setting under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Oklahoma Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
