Job Summary
Deliver evidence-based, quality care to hospitalized patients, establishing timely treatment plans to empower them toward previous or next levels of functioning. Communicate and educate patients, family members, and caregivers on self-care management and Activities of Daily Living while collaborating with physicians, case management, and nurses. Maintain positive connections with all team members and fellow clinicians to ensure the best, most evidence-based practice for patients. This role offers one-on-one interaction to bring patients a sense of normalcy and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
- State Licensure
- Registered with NBCOT
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
