Job Summary
PRN Nursing Attendant on the Oncology/Nephrology-focused Med-Surg unit (3 East). Provides selected patient care treatments and tasks as delegated by licensed nurse, participates in orientation with experienced preceptors, and supports patient care in a 12-hour day/evening/night rotation with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Unit focus includes renal and oncology patient populations; role emphasizes clinical skill development, accountability for actions, and recognition of age/population-specific needs in a Med-Surg setting.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing assistant training or certification typically required
- Ability to perform delegated tasks under supervision of licensed nurse
- 12-hour shift availability including days/evenings/nights
- PRN per diem schedule with potential weekend/holiday work
- Experience in Medical-Surgical units and familiarity with oncology/nephrology a plus
