Job Summary
Conduct medication administration for clients in a residential setting on Saturday and Sunday mornings and evenings. Choose specific med pass shifts each month and cover lunch breaks for direct care staff as needed. Provide direction of medical care within licensing scope, including ratio support during business hours and emergency crisis situations. Cover full shifts for full-time nurses on vacation or using sick time. Maintain physical readiness for restraint training, First Aid, and CPR while performing extended periods of sitting, standing, and mobility tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from appropriate program of accredited licensed practical nursing
- Criminal background check
- Drug test
- Physical test
- TB test
- Ability to physically participate in HWC restraint training
- Must be able to perform First Aid/CPR processes
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both written and verbal
- Good visual and audio capabilities
- Sit or stand for extended periods
- Walk, run, bend, stoop, and/or squat, reach, climb steps or stairs as needed
- PC/Keyboarding abilities

- Previous experience with adolescents in a residential setting
